Interior
Once inside the building, true beauty and elegance of this mausoleum dawns on its visitors. Its carved cedar ceiling is covered in gold leaf and interior is decorated with granite. Beside the mausoleum, mounted guards are standby while few of them stand in the corridor beside the grave. Next door is the Muhammed V Mosque, constructed at the same time and used mainly for Friday midday prayers and on important holy days.
